Softrams is a thriving IT contractor at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) as well as other agencies. They specialize in digital services, cloud architecture, AI and cyber security. They just announced they are adding a second member to their Advisory Board.
Jenni Main is a former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CMS. She has extensive experience over the last three decades in leading enterprise transformations. She’s a champion of organizational mission and goals through her expertise in strategic planning, process improvement, enterprise risk management, financial management, information technology, acquisition, and human capital. Main joined CMS as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2016 and was promoted to COO in 2018, where she led CMS’s transformation initiative to streamline processes, reduce hiring times, get more value from acquisition, and increase transparency with the adoption of enterprise-wide Key Performance Indicators and the Agency’s first executive dashboard.
Previous to Jenni Main, Softrams added Jason R. Weiss, former Chief Software Officer (CSO) of the United States Department of Defense (DOD). Jason is also the cofounder of Digital Triad Group, a visiting scholar at the Hudson Institute and had a previous stint at BAE before joining the DOD.

Atchut Kanthamani, CEO of Softrams, started the company as a subcontractor to other government contractors, most notably, Northrop Grumman, where Softrams worked on CMS contracts. They won their first prime contract back in 2017 when they won ACO-MS (Accountable Care Organization Management System). They’ve since went on to many successful awards inside and outside of CMS, including the following so far in 2023:
- Health Plan Management System Support contract (recompete) for $83M
- CMS CMMI Technology Solutions (CTS) task for $105M
- CMS Business Operations Support Center (BOSC) contract for $54M
