The ultimate goal of the law is to harmonize and reduce the private sector’s regulatory compliance burden while enhancing transparency and accountability. The 7 covered financial regulatory agencies now have two years to issue a joint rule establishing common identifiers.\nJoin experts on the FDTA and the Data Coalition Initiative for a discussion about the provisions of this legislation and what the implementation process will look like.
